Vtec LED instructions?

I know I saw a post about hooking up a LED to signal VTEC activation here the other day but now I cant find it.

Can someone repost the instruction site or give me the run down again.
Also I remember part of it was using a specific resistor and a special type of wire, details of how these hook up and function would help.

It seems like a cool cheap way to waste my weekend
